Hawai’i Retreat

A Self-Realization Retreat for Actors in Hawai’i

It’s one thing to go after a dream. It’s quite another to be successful at it.

As for acting dreams, most don’t even try; Of the few that do, most eventually quit.
The reason why is almost always the same – fear.

They let their fears, doubts, insecurities, and self-sabotaging patterns hijack their dreams, so they quit the thing they swore they’d never quit.

Fear kills dreams.

The single most important ingredient to become a working actor at the highest level – and staying there – is the ability to daily address your fears along with the mental, emotional aspects of going after something so difficult as this.

After thirty-five years of successfully turning his dreams into reality in the most competitive profession on the planet, Jim had to address every single fear he had. In so doing, he then learned how to implement a strategy, a gameplay, a blueprint for being able to successfully navigate the mental, emotional aspect of being a successful dreamer.

For the last twenty years, Jim has taken actors to the Big Island of Hawaii on ten-day retreats to share what he’s learned and to give them these very strategies and tools to successfully address, heal and transcend their fears, doubts, blocks, and insecurities.

The experience is profound, transformative, and most importantly, lasting as attendees consistently have the same life-changing experience – year after year:

“This retreat was like Ninja training for dreamers. Without any exaggeration, my life will be forever changed because of this experience. ”

… Ozzie Jaurequi

If spending ten days with Hawaii as your classroom isn’t magical enough, the Big Island has been Jim’s second home for over thirty years and so through his Ohana (Hawaiian family) you will have access to so many remarkable properties, private beaches, sacred swimming holes and waterfalls as your backdrop and classroom.

Students stay in Jim’s beautiful home on the Big Island which has been customized to support his “Intensive Retreats.” And the key phrase is “Intensive Retreat” as this is a schedule of a typical day:
